Bug report of 3D SpectAlyze (January 4, 2021)

We would like to report on two bugs that have occurred in 3D SpectAlyze.
We are currently investigating the cause of these bugs and how to fix them.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our users.

(1) Windows 10 version-dependent bug

Target: Products installed on Windows 10 version 2004, or 20H2
*This bug has not been confirmed on Windows 8, and Windows 10 version 1909.

When executing Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the program forced termination.
When executing LASSO, if “Type of outcome” is set to “quantitative variable”, the process will not finish.
Until we update the fix program, please consider the following.

(recommended)Use a PC other than windows 10 version 2004 or version 20H2.
Do not update to windows 10 version 2004 or version 20H2.

(2) Calculation error in the judgment function of PLS regression

Target: 3D SpectAlyze Lite PLS version, Standard version, Pro version

In the “Judgment” tab of the “PLS Regression” screen, the function to import the saved model and display the predicted values of the loaded data has a bug that displays incorrect predicted values depending on the loaded data.

Until we update the fix program, please consider the following.
Do not use the Judgment function in PLS regression.
